There’s something indulgent about taking time to slow down. I’ll paint my nails, exfoliate, or even just sit with a cup of tea while a mask dries. It’s not about looking perfect afterward—it’s about feeling like I gave myself permission to relax.
I think we underestimate how powerful it is to pause and pamper ourselves, even for an hour. It makes the rest of the week feel more manageable, like I’ve reset my batteries with a little kindness.
